Bambou, an adorable red panda mascot, travels between the leisure centers of Angerville and Méréville, stimulating children's exchanges and creativity through the 'Correspondances et voyages' project.

The original project « Correspondances et voyages » (Correspondences and Travels) unites children from the leisure centers of Angerville and Méréville in a collective adventure. Since September, Bambou, a red panda, has been traveling between the two centers, carrying in its suitcase memories, creations, a logbook of its adventures, gifts made by the children, and creative and sporting challenges designed by them.
After a month spent in Angerville, Bambou has arrived in Méréville, where it received a warm welcome. The children of Méréville are ready to take on the challenges set by their Angerville peers. Creative and sporting activities, exchanges, and new experiences await Bambou.
On its first day in Méréville, Bambou participated in an intergenerational workshop at the retirement home, fostering moments of connection between children and seniors. Over the weeks, this project allows children to learn to communicate, cooperate, express their creativity, discover the daily lives of their peers, and develop their curiosity and openness to others.
This project, also being piloted between the centers of Saclas and Pussay, aims to revitalize the network of leisure centers in the Agglomeration by creating bridges between children, encouraging sharing, and cultivating the joy of growing together! Bambou's adventure continues, promising new encounters and challenges.
