Each year, the month of October is dedicated to the prevention and awareness of breast cancer. This disease affects one in eight women during their lifetime. Fortunately, when detected early, breast cancer is curable in nine out of ten cases, highlighting the importance of regular screenings.
As a sign of support for the cause, the town's town hall will be illuminated in the colors of October Rose every evening for a month. Additionally, the Sociocultural Center will organize various activities focused on prevention and learning.
