On the occasion of Pink October 2026, a month dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer screening, a solidarity walk is organized in Étiolles on Saturday, October 3. The event, starting at 9 am at the Maison des Associations, will offer 8 km and 5 km routes, as well as prevention workshops and information stands. Participation is €5, entirely donated to LA LIGUE CONTRE LE CANCER to support prevention, care, and research.
The program for the day in Étiolles includes a welcome drink at 9 am, followed by the walks at 9:30 am. Prevention stands and a refreshment bar will also be available.
In parallel, on Sunday, October 11, the town of Soisy-sur-Seine will host a sporting and solidarity morning in partnership with the Institut Gustave Roussy. Funds raised will be donated to the institute for breast cancer research. Two routes are offered starting from the parc du Grand Veneur: a non-timed 10 km run and a 5 km walk, taking participants through the town and the forest of Sénart.
A collective warm-up will be held before the race, and a prevention stand will be set up in the park. Participation is €5 per person. Online registration is available on the Institut Gustave Roussy website. The race starts at 9:30 am and the walk at 10:15 am.
