The students of the 2029 cohort were welcomed to the Télécom Paris campus, a place dedicated to designing tomorrow's technologies, focused on humanity and the environment. They are thus becoming actors in a world in transition, exploring fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, climate, satellite imagery, digital sovereignty, and inclusion.
This new chapter marks commitment, excellence, and transformation. By joining Télécom Paris, with nearly 150 years of history in science and innovation and part of the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) and Institut Polytechnique de Paris, students are encouraged to link scientific rigor with concrete impact to rethink digital technology. Throughout their three years of study, the cohort will be supported by two key partners: Astek and OP3FT.
A welcome evening began with a panel discussion on 'Ethics, Responsibility, and Engineering,' moderated by Louis Pincas, Maria M., and Quentin Besse, members of the Télécom Paris Student Union. Their presence highlights the close link between education, research, and the professional world.
The institution wishes the students a year rich in encounters, boldness, and discoveries within a demanding, supportive, and passionate community.
