A public inquiry is open from Monday, November 9 to December 11, 2026, concerning the Flood Risk Prevention Plan (PPRi) for the Rémarde and its tributaries, aimed at preventing floods and managing urban development in exposed areas.

The Flood Risk Prevention Plan (PPRi) for the Rémarde and its tributaries aims to prevent floods and regulate urbanization in exposed areas, based on a centennial reference flood. Following two public consultation periods without public observations (May 4 to June 4, 2026, and August 24 to September 24, 2026), the prefects of Essonne and Yvelines have, by inter-prefectural decree no. 2026-PREF.DCPPAT/BUPPE/267 of October 5, 2026, initiated a public inquiry.
This inquiry, preceding the approval of the PPRi for the Rémarde, Prédecelle, and Charmoise, will be managed by the DDT of Essonne and Yvelines. It will take place from Monday, November 9 to December 11, 2026.
A member of the inquiry commission will be available to meet the public at the Maison Pour Tous – 5 Rue de la Mairie (building opposite the Town Hall) on Friday, December 4, 2026, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Information can be found in the dedicated section on the website of the state services in Essonne.
