Eleven start-ups founded or led by École Polytechnique alumni have been selected for the 2026 promotion of the French Tech 2030 program, which recognizes companies developing breakthrough technologies.

Among the 80 selected companies, these eleven laureates from X showcase the diversity of innovations in strategic sectors. In the quantum field, C12 develops quantum electronics technologies, while Quandela designs photonic quantum computers. In artificial intelligence, Entalpic and Neuralk AI offer solutions for business competitiveness, with Neuralk specializing in structured data exploitation.
Several companies are contributing to industrial transformation. Cailabs designs laser communication solutions for Earth-to-satellite links. Inbolt develops AI technologies for industrial robotic automation, and Niryo offers robotic solutions for industrial, medical, and educational sectors. Orus operates in the space domain, and Wheere develops indoor geolocation technology.
Cybersecurity and health are also represented. CryptoNext Security develops cryptographic solutions resistant to quantum computing threats, while Orakl Oncology leverages data and AI for oncology.
The French Tech 2030 program, launched in 2023, supports 80 high-potential French start-ups in eight strategic areas: AI, space, quantum, cybersecurity, robotics, semiconductors, health, energy, and decarbonization. Managed by the French Tech Mission, it aims to accelerate their development and scaling.
The 2026 promotion reflects the growing importance of these companies in the French economy. The laureates invested €211 million in R&D in 2025, filed 842 patents, and raised a total of €1.5 billion. These companies represent nearly 4,000 jobs, with 79% already having international activities.
The selection highlights the role of technology companies in transforming scientific advances into industrial and commercial applications. A majority of laureates (60%) originate from public research or collaborate with its actors. The presence of eleven X start-ups illustrates the polytechnician ecosystem's contribution to this entrepreneurial dynamic.
