This operation, resulting from collaboration between the municipality and SyAGE, aims to strengthen the safety and ensure the longevity of the footbridge, while preserving its integration into the heritage landscape of the town center.
The construction site includes the replacement of the oak decking, a complete overhaul of the metal assemblies, and the identical renewal of the guardrails. Part of the existing structure will be retained to maintain the appearance and character of the bridge.
During the works, the path and the footbridge will be closed to traffic. The construction is expected to last approximately six weeks.
The total cost of this operation amounts to 212,000 euros.
