This Saturday, October 3rd, the town of Saint-Germain-lès-Arpajon is taking part in the departmental operation "Essonne Verte, Essonne Propre". The municipality is calling on residents, families, and associations to join this citizen movement aimed at clearing the town's green spaces and roadsides of polluting waste.
Each year, this initiative mobilizes the people of Essonne to preserve their living environment. Last year's event resulted in the collection of 44 tons of waste across all participating communes. The goal for this year is to achieve even better results.
The meeting point is set for Saturday, October 3rd, at 2 PM. Participants are expected in front of the town hall or the Simone Veil school. Gloves and trash bags will be distributed on site to facilitate the collection.
The town encourages strong participation to meet this environmental challenge and invites everyone interested to come in large numbers.
