The SIARJA (Mixed syndicate for the development and maintenance of the Juine river and its tributaries) has reported the presence of cyanobacteria in the still ponds of the Itteville marsh.
These microorganisms, naturally present in aquatic environments, can pose risks to human and animal health.
As a precautionary measure, walkers are invited to follow these guidelines: avoid all contact with the pond water, do not let animals drink or swim in it, and do not touch any greenish deposits on the water surface.
