This Saturday, October 3rd, the municipality of Saintry-sur-Seine is organizing a large-scale exercise dedicated to flood risk, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to test its alert and crisis management system.

The day aims to evaluate, under near-real conditions, the municipal organization in the event of a crisis: team mobilization, information flow, coordination of different actors, and implementation of planned measures to inform and protect the population.
An alert signal will be triggered at the start of the exercise, followed by a second signal at the end to mark its closure. These activations are part of the exercise and should not cause concern.
Municipal communication tools, such as the website saintry.fr and the Saintry application, will be mobilized to disseminate messages and instructions within the scenario. Several simulations will also be visible in different areas of the town.
This exercise will help verify the effectiveness of existing procedures and identify areas for improvement to further strengthen the municipality's capacity to handle a real situation. Preparing today means being more effective collectively tomorrow.
