The ceremony was attended by Mayor Pauline Le Fur, Antoine Petit, municipal councilor for Citizen Participation, and Jean-Yves Sommier, deputy for Personnel and Public Services. The young councilors discovered their new responsibilities.
Following speeches, each child received their councilor sash from the Mayor, symbolizing their commitment. The session concluded with a friendly exchange with the municipal team, followed by a photo session for their official portraits.

The next step for the CME will be the selection of thematic commissions in which the elected members wish to work: 'For an Ecological City,' 'For a Democratic City,' and 'For a Solidary City.'
