The Sèvres-Ville d’Avray station, a remarkable element of Île-de-France heritage, has regained its splendor thanks to a complete rehabilitation led by SNCF Gares & Connexions since late 2025.

Before the work, the station showed signs of aging, including damaged facades with degraded plasterwork, eroded stones, and dilapidated joinery, as well as a covered walkway and railings needing repair. Scaffolding, installed in late 2025, marked the beginning of a six-month construction phase.
Today, the station has regained its original brilliance. All four sides of the building, including those facing Place Pierre-Brossolette and the platforms, have been completely restored. Plasterwork and stone sections have been repaired, and joinery, such as the access door between the forecourt and the hall, has been replaced. The covered walkway, joinery, and railings have also been treated and repainted.
This renovation has preserved the heritage while offering a more pleasant environment for users. Parking spaces and all access points have been reinstated, marking a return to normal. The station, listed in the General Inventory of Cultural Heritage of Île-de-France, is part of a local heritage preservation initiative, combining aesthetic and functional requirements.
The City and SNCF Gares & Connexions thank users for their patience during the construction. The station is now more welcoming and remains a symbol of Île-de-France railway heritage.
