The Boucle Nord de Seine territory, covering six municipalities in the Hauts-de-Seine department, has renewed all its waste collection services starting October 1st. The companies Derichebourg, Moulinot, and Sépur have been selected following a public tender.
Derichebourg will be responsible for door-to-door collection in Clichy, Colombes, Gennevilliers, and Villeneuve-la-Garenne. It will also manage the collection of voluntary drop-off containers in five of the six municipalities.
Moulinot will handle the collection of food waste and the washing of bins, with both operations to be carried out simultaneously.
Sépur will ensure door-to-door collection in Asnières-sur-Seine, and starting January 4th, 2027, in Bois-Colombes.
This public contract is awarded for a period of 5 years, with an option for a two-year renewal. This renewal provided an opportunity for the public territorial establishment (EPT) to conduct an in-depth diagnosis of the service, reassess collection frequencies, and review sorting performance. Frequency adjustments have already been made in Gennevilliers and will be implemented in Bois-Colombes from next January.
A significant innovation will be deployed in most municipalities: the installation of AI-equipped onboard cameras. These devices will scan the flow of collected waste in real-time, allowing for precise geolocation of addresses with the most errors and thus better targeting awareness campaigns. The cameras will also help quickly detect hazardous waste such as nitrous oxide or lithium batteries, thereby preventing potential fires in trucks and treatment centers.
