Organized by the Economic Development department of the Agglomeration, the Paris - Marne Valley Economic Meetings held their 5th edition on Tuesday, October 13 at the Espace Michel Fugain in Croissy-Beaubourg. The event, aimed at building or strengthening local business ties, was fully booked.
The evening began with welcome remarks from Michaël Gaillard, mayor of Croissy-Beaubourg, and Guillaume Le Lay-Felzine, Vice-President in charge of Economic Development. The latter highlighted the Agglomeration's efforts to welcome and support businesses in its territory.
These meetings also serve as a prime opportunity for economic actors and project leaders to discuss their fields of activity, get to know each other better, and create synergies. Speed-meetings facilitated these exchanges, as did the chance to meet with Agglomeration services to learn more about their support for employment and environmental protection.
Taking advantage of the event, elected officials unveiled the winners of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Trophies. These awards recognize companies in the territory for their environmental, social, and responsible economy initiatives.
The companies Mobeelity from Noisiel (environmental trophy), Yprema from Émerainville (social trophy), and the association Tisséco solidaire from Roissy-en-Brie (responsible economy) were honored by Colette Boissot, Vice-President for Sustainable Development, and Hafida Dhabi, Community Councilor for Economic Land and Real Estate Strategy.
The evening concluded with a cocktail reception catered by Romain Merlet, a local artisan caterer recently established in the La Régale zone in Courtry.
