Significant modernization works on railway infrastructure are being carried out by SNCF Réseau at the Gretz-Armainvilliers station from July 20 to December 19, 2026, causing traffic disruptions.

From July 20 to December 19, 2026, SNCF Réseau is undertaking modernization work on the railway facilities at Gretz-Armainvilliers station. The aim is to improve train regularity and safety by replacing 2 switches, removing 7 disused switches, and installing an artificial intelligence-based predictive maintenance system capable of detecting anomalies before they cause malfunctions.
These improvements are intended to ultimately promote better train punctuality and reduce incidents on the network. As part of this work, 3 level crossings will be temporarily closed to traffic. Full closures are scheduled for October 2 (10:00 PM - 4:00 AM), October 5 to 9 (nights from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM), October 9 to 12 (10:00 PM - 4:00 AM), October 12 to 16 (10:00 PM - 4:00 AM), and from October 16 to 30 for PN 17. The level crossings will remain accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.
Diversions will be implemented for the duration of the closures. Furthermore, adaptations to the transport plan will occur over several weekends: September 25-28, October 2-5, October 9-12, October 16-19, October 23-26, October 30-November 2, and December 4-7. Railway traffic will be suspended or significantly impacted on these dates.
Travelers are advised to regularly check traffic information. During the nights and weekends of work, platform access may be closed to ensure construction site safety, although the pedestrian footbridge will remain accessible.
