The elections for the "Tablée de Quincy" took place on September 21st, giving candidate students the opportunity to represent their peers. Their role will be to relay feedback on school menus during dedicated committees, proposing improvements and conveying both positive and negative opinions.
The corridors of the three schools were transformed into actual polling stations, equipped with a voting booth and ballot box, and decorated with campaign posters from the young candidates. The mayor, Denis Le Maire, visited the schools to discuss this first civic experience with the children.
Kathy Landicheff, Deputy Mayor for Childhood, Youth, and Schools, was present at La Forestière school, while Audrey Florin-Reuzeau, Municipal Councilor, accompanied students at Dixmeresse school, supporting the young voters.
Following the ballot count, the results were announced: Louisa GALIERA and Maëvan BOSSAERT will represent La Forestière school; Mylie BOUDON and Jules TAMBURRINI, Jacques Prévert school; and Tyméo KOCHER and Enzo SALEM CANELLE, Dixmeresse school. Congratulations to the newly elected students who will serve on the upcoming menu committees.
