On Friday, October 16, 570 students from middle schools in Rozay-en-Brie and Fontenay-Trésigny participated in an event dedicated to the environment, organized by the CCVB.

On Friday, October 16, 6th and 5th grade students from the middle schools of Rozay-en-Brie and Fontenay-Trésigny took part in a special day at l’Envolée. The event aimed to raise young people's awareness of environmental issues.
Interactive conferences, led by Biosphère, provided an understanding of food waste and climate change challenges. A Grand Défi Recyclage Textile (Great Textile Recycling Challenge) was then launched to transform this awareness into concrete action.
Thanks to the mobilization of students and their families, nearly 553 kg of textiles were collected. This operation, supported by Sébastien Perocheau, Vice-President in charge of Environmental Policies, was organized by Karine Andre, Sustainable Development Manager at CCVB, in partnership with Sietom 77.
The CCVB thanks the middle schools, teachers, families, and all partners who contribute to nurturing the eco-citizens of tomorrow. The initiative 'Understand, Act, Recycle' guides the youth of Val Briard towards ecological transition.
