For October Rose, the CPAM 93 is deploying its Mammobile in priority neighborhoods of Seine-Saint-Denis until the end of November, offering free screenings for breast and cervical cancer.

To facilitate screening access, a mobile radiology truck, the Mammobile 93, is currently traveling through Seine-Saint-Denis. This initiative, led by the CPAM 93, aims to reach women aged 50 to 74, particularly in areas with the most marked inequalities in healthcare access.
During its first tour from September 2025 to June 2026, 3,500 mammograms were performed. Stephan Di Iorio, Director General of CPAM 93, regrets that nearly 90,000 women in the department have not yet undergone screening, despite full coverage.
In the heart of priority neighborhoods, the mobile unit, equipped with the latest generation of equipment, offers mammograms and ultrasounds. A multidisciplinary team also conducts cervical cancer screening, including scheduling smear tests and assisting with HPV self-tests. Colorectal cancer screening kits are also available for men and women aged 50 to 74.
Upcoming stops for the campaign include La Courneuve (Place Mail de l’Egalité) on October 16, Romainville (Hôtel de ville) on October 20, Aubervilliers (Place Lénine) from October 21 to 23, Aulnay-sous-Bois (Chanteloup neighborhood) on November 12 and 13, Gagny (Dahlias parking lot and Place Foch) on November 17 and 18, and Noisy-le-Sec (Place des Provinces and Place des Résistances) on November 19 and 20.
Breast cancer, affecting 61,000 women annually in France, is one of the most frequent and the leading cause of female mortality. Early detection significantly increases survival chances.
Furthermore, on October 16 and 21, meetings dedicated to breast and gynecological health (self-examination, contraception, STIs, vaccination, menopause) are organized by the PMI centers of Saint-Denis and Bauer in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine.
Women who have not had a screening in the last two years are encouraged to contact their health referent, their territorial health community (CPTS), or call 36 46 to inquire about available walk-in slots on the Mammobile 93.
This project is managed by the CPAM of Seine-Saint-Denis, in close collaboration with the CRCDC Île-de-France, LCR-HEALTHCARE (semi-trailer provider), GE Healthcare (radiology equipment), and local health professionals.
