Residents will benefit from better insulated, ventilated, and more energy-efficient heating thanks to facade, attic, and basement insulation, new joinery, and condensing boilers. Energy consumption is expected to decrease by an average of 65%, reducing heating and hot water costs.
Safety has been enhanced with the compliance of electrical installations, the installation of new entrance doors, and the implementation of a smoke extraction system in stairwells.
Common areas have been renovated to be more pleasant and accessible, featuring refurbished lobbies, motion-activated lighting, new hall doors, and electric roller shutters.
Following these works, the buildings, previously rated E or F, now achieve an energy label C for the 192 housing units involved.
