The city of Montreuil has inaugurated "Les Chemins de la Glisse" (The Gliding Paths), an ambitious project aiming to develop urban gliding sports through a network of interconnected facilities.

Following the creation of a skatepark and a pumptrack in 2023 and 2024, the municipality of Montreuil has enhanced its offering with blocparcs (concrete modules) set up in public spaces. This initiative leverages existing infrastructure to form a network promoting the practice of rollerblading, skateboarding, scootering, and BMX.
The project, supported by the Agence Nationale du Sport and the Région Île-de-France, aims to foster the development of these new recreational and sporting activities by creating accessible learning environments. The pumptrack at Parc Montreau offers an all-terrain circuit for everyone, while the Grands Pêchers skatepark, covering 1,100 m², allows for impressive tricks and maneuvers.
The blocparcs, installed in public spaces since the summer of 2025, are located in various neighborhoods to connect the practice sites. They can be found notably at Place Aimé-Césaire and Place Guernica, as well as at the intersection of Rue Paul-Doumer and Rue Lenain-de-Tillemont, and along Rue du Capitaine-Dreyfus, Rue Dolorès-Ibarruri, and Rue Cuvier.
The pumptrack, inaugurated in June 2023, features three levels of tracks (green, blue, red) and is freely accessible. The skatepark, opened in June 2024, is accessible daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, although nighttime use is not permitted due to lack of lighting. The city reserves the right to modify access hours.
