Sharing a meal with children in the canteen, exchanging stories, recounting memories, and discovering the daily lives of younger generations: intergenerational meals are an opportunity to create bonds between generations. Faced with the possibility of organizing a second welcome day, the City wishes to gather the opinions of Cergy seniors to better gauge interest in this initiative.
A short questionnaire is available for Cergy seniors to help the City better understand their desires, expectations, and any potential barriers to participation. A few minutes are enough to complete the survey.
Intergenerational meals are already in place in Cergy. Seniors can have lunch on Wednesdays, outside of school holidays, with children from the Atlantis, Le Point du Jour, and La Justice leisure centers. The cost of a full meal is €4.40.
To participate, registration must be done no later than the Monday preceding the meal. Seniors can register by phone at 01 34 33 43 03 or by email at seniors@cergy.fr, specifying the desired Wednesday(s).
