The project aims to facilitate pedestrian and cycling travel, improve access to the river, and create new relaxation areas along the banks.
Existing paths, including sections of the Chemin du Bord de l’Eau, will be renovated for cyclists and scooter users. New pedestrian and cycle links will be created to form walking loops, and views of the Oise will be opened up while preserving remarkable trees.
Seven rest areas, equipped with benches and picnic tables, will be developed to offer places for rest and contemplation. The project also includes planting and invasive species management to respect local biodiversity.
Initial interventions, such as clearing and cleaning, began at the end of October 2026. Construction will continue until autumn 2027, including path renovation, access development, and the creation of landscaped rest stops. Temporary modifications to some pathways may occur during construction.
An urban walk invites you to discover the future developments along the Oise.
An urban walk is organized to present the project. It will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., meeting at Port-Cergy, at the corner of Chemin Neuf and Chemin du Bord de l’Eau.
