The Mental Health Information Week (SISM), held since 1990, is a key moment for raising awareness about mental health in metropolitan and overseas France. During this period, local events are organized to encourage citizen participation.
In Arcueil, several activities are planned from October 8th to 15th. The program includes a writing workshop, a children's café, an improvisation theater workshop, a debate on art and emotions, and a film screening followed by a discussion.
On Thursday, October 8th at 6 PM, the Médiathèque Louis Pergaud will host a writing workshop titled « Bipo l’air de rien », led by Fiona Fradet, actress, director, and dancer. This workshop, for teenagers and adults by registration, will explore sensuality, movement, and self-perception.
On Sunday, October 11th, from 3 PM to 6 PM, Anis Gras – le lieu de l’Autre will present « Silence, on joue ! ». This event, with a single ticket price of €4, will bring together artists with disabilities for original artistic practices, including a rock concert by Lola Aumont and musical workshops.
An improvisation theater workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Espace Guy Môquet. Aimed at young people aged 12 to 15, it is led by the association La Mécanique de l’instant and the town's youth service. Prior registration is mandatory (15 places).
The debate workshop « Art serving emotions: Taking care of myself » will be held on Monday, October 12th at 2:30 PM at the Mission locale Innovam in Cachan. It is intended for 16-25 year olds and aims to discuss with professionals the impact of emotions on mental health.
Finally, on Thursday, October 15th at 7 PM, the Espace Jean Vilar will screen the film « Élise sous emprise » by and starring Marie Rémond, followed by a discussion. The single ticket price is €3.50.
