On the occasion of Pink October, the municipality of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges invites citizens to a morning of sports and solidarity on Sunday, October 18, 2026, to be held at Gérard Roussel stadium. The event will take place from 8 AM to 1 PM.
Local associations will be involved with various activities, races, and awareness campaigns aimed at supporting the fight against breast cancer. Starting at 9 AM, the public can visit association stands, gather information, and participate in the proposed activities.
The program includes a collective warm-up at 9:30 AM, followed by the start of the 7 km sports race at 10 AM. A 2 km solidarity run will begin at 10:45 AM, and a children's race around the stadium is scheduled for 11:15 AM. The medal ceremony will take place at 11:30 AM.
Throughout the morning, sports courses and activities will be offered by participating associations. Scarves will also be distributed to participants.
Registration can be done by filling out an online form or on-site before the race. A participation fee of €2 will be requested, and all collected funds will be donated to the Ligue contre le cancer 94.
This event is organized in partnership with the associations Taekwondo Team VSG and KOS, with the participation of numerous local associations.
