Designed for the youth of Villiers, the 'Projet Générations' aims to equip schools for future challenges by rethinking their outdoor spaces. The goal is to enhance children's living environment, support educational teams, and make establishments more comfortable and pleasant daily.
This project will bring concrete benefits to children, including more shade, more pleasant spaces in hot weather, new areas for play and learning, and better integration of nature. The Town plans to implement solutions through greening, improved surfaces, better rainwater management, and biodiversity development.
The 'Projet Générations' will not follow a single model; each project will be tailored to the specific configuration, uses, and priorities of each school. A consultation process will begin in September with parents, educational staff, and students to develop these projects based on actual needs.
The Jules Ferry and Charles Perrault schools will be the first to benefit from this initiative starting in September, followed by the future Anne Frank school. The project will then be gradually rolled out to other establishments in the municipality.
