The town of Garancières is preparing for several cultural and practical events in the coming weeks. The Festival Committee is organizing a Brazilian Evening on Saturday, October 17th, starting at 8 PM in the Salle des Fêtes.
The Book Festival will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, a day dedicated to the pleasure of reading and sharing. The municipal library "Le Colibri" also offers a youth show on the same day, Saturday, October 3rd at 3 PM.
Due to persistent rainfall deficit, the municipality has issued a drought alert imposing restrictions on water usage. Details of these measures are available for consultation.
Regarding municipal services, the weekly consultation of Madam the Mayor scheduled for Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, is cancelled; the next one will be held on October 7th. A legal consultation is also offered on September 19th.
A new activity, Parent-Child Yoga with Camyoga, is now available to residents. Additionally, the leisure center will be exceptionally closed on Wednesday, September 23rd due to a staff strike.
The town is also offering a T2 apartment for rent at a moderate price, located on rue Saint-Maurice. Finally, the "À VOIX NUES" festival will be held at the Saint-Pierre de Garancières church on Saturday, September 26th, and Sunday, September 27th for its 3rd edition.
