The month of October will be dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in Garancières, benefiting the Les Souliers Roses association. On Saturday, October 10th, starting at 9:30 AM, a gathering is scheduled at Place de la Croix-Rouge for a special morning.
Philo la Conteuse will guide participants through the paths and streets of Garancières for a storytelling walk filled with poetry, stories, and emotions. This initiative aims to help discover or rediscover the town from a different perspective, with family or friends.
The walk, which requires no reservation, will be followed by a voluntary collection at its conclusion. Around 11:30 AM, upon arrival at the salle des fêtes in Garancières, elected officials will offer a convivial aperitif.
This event will also be an opportunity to meet the volunteers of Les Souliers Roses, exchange with them, and learn about their actions and commitment to supporting those affected by breast cancer. A story, a walk, a moment of sharing to support an important cause.
The municipality invites the public to come in large numbers to walk with Philo la Conteuse and support Les Souliers Roses, making October Rose a vibrant event in Garancières.
