Local associations and stakeholders in Guyancourt are actively mobilizing for the Telethon. Several events are planned for November and December, inviting residents to share convivial and solidarity-filled moments while contributing to this major national collection for the AFM-Téléthon.
The program begins on Sunday, November 15, at the Espace de proximité Joseph-Kosma with a yoga and meditation session offered by a local association, at a cost of €10.
On Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, the Espace de proximité Joseph-Kosma will host a Playmobil exhibition organized by the association Anim’Europe. Admission is €3 for adults and €1 for children under 14.
A festive evening is scheduled for Friday, December 5, at the Pavillon Pierre-Waldeck-Rousseau. It will start with the presentation of associative performances and the discovery of young talents from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. From 7:30 PM onwards, a cabaret dinner will be organized by the association Al Atlas, with a price of €15 per adult and €8 per child under 12. A refreshment stand will also be offered by Anim’Europe.
On the same day, Friday, December 5, the Gymnase des Trois Mousquetaires will host 24 hours of tennis starting at 7:00 PM. The association 3M invites participation in this sporting and solidarity relay for €10 per adult and €5 per child, with an additional €5 for the meal.
To conclude these events, a folk dance will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Espace de proximité Théodore-Monod. The associations Calibeurdaine, ALG, and Les Canotiers invite the public to dance and share a festive moment. Participation is free.
Each participation in these events helps support the actions of the AFM-Téléthon in favor of research on rare genetic diseases and support for families.
