Starting October 10, the City of Houilles is offering residents the 'I have an animal at home' card, a tool designed to signal the presence of a pet at home in case of emergency.

This card, designed to be kept in a wallet, aims to enable emergency services or law enforcement to be aware of an animal left alone at home if its owner is a victim of an accident, unexpected hospitalization, or any other emergency situation.
It also allows for the inclusion of contact details for a trusted person who can care for the animal in the owner's absence.
The card will be officially unveiled and distributed free of charge on Saturday, October 10, during the elected officials' session at the market. Subsequently, it will also be available at the reception of the Town Hall and at the Les Belles-Vues assisted living facility.
