On Monday, October 5, 2026, the Auditorium of the Université ouverte de Versailles hosted the 9th edition of the Night of Law, an event organized under the auspices of the Constitutional Council. The evening, held from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, brought together legal professionals and students to debate the essential theme of the right to remain silent.

Organized in partnership with the Court of Appeal of Versailles, the Administrative Court of Appeal, the Judicial Court, the Administrative Court, and the Bar Association, this edition featured two round tables, eloquent pleadings by Bar Association lawyers, and rich discussions.
The faculty was proudly represented by Jean-Baptiste Duclercq, a lecturer in public law, and Thibault Barbieux, a lecturer in legal history, who delivered high-quality interventions.
The university extends its thanks to its partners and the many students present for their enthusiastic participation, celebrating a vibrant and unifying field of law. An eagerly awaited 10th edition is planned for next year.
