Following the success of its first edition, Angerville is relaunching the 'Passe ton BAFA' program, offering 15 local youths a unique opportunity to earn their animator diploma at a low cost.

Building on the success of its first edition, the "Passe ton BAFA" program is returning to Angerville for a second run! This year, 15 young residents of Angerville, aged 16 or older, can benefit from training for the Brevet d’Aptitude aux Fonctions d’Animateur (BAFA). Thanks to funding from the Caf – Allocations familiales de l’Essonne, the entire training (theory, internship, and advanced training) will cost them only €100, instead of the usual €700 to €900.
The BAFA, a recognized diploma, offers valuable initial experience for discovering the professional world and accessing jobs in childcare and youth activities. Graduates will be able to work in settings like leisure centers, after-school programs, and summer camps, applying their new skills. The training also fosters essential qualities such as responsibility, autonomy, creativity, teamwork, and group leadership.
This practical and rewarding experience can serve as a springboard to employment, particularly as an animator in the leisure centers of the Étampois Sud-Essonne region. To join this second edition, a recruitment session with individual interviews will be held on Saturday, October 17th, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Espace Simone Veil, attended by the Agglomeration's Director of 'Childhood'. This session will select the 15 participating youths.
To apply, interested individuals can contact the Espace Simone Veil at 01 69 94 93 02 for registration details. Selected candidates will then be invited to an information meeting on Saturday, October 31st. The theoretical training course will commence on Saturday, December 19th, and last for one week.
