The Municipality of Brétigny-sur-Orge has officially launched its Tree Charter, a civic commitment to strengthen nature and biodiversity in the city. This document aims to raise awareness and provide tools for preserving the local tree heritage.

As part of its efforts to enhance the role of nature and biodiversity in the city, the Municipality, fulfilling a commitment made to the residents of Brétigny during the last elections, is implementing a Tree Charter. This official document, annexed to the Local Urban Planning Plan, aims to unite all local stakeholders around a common project: the preservation and enhancement of our tree heritage.
Its objective is to educate the public about the many benefits of trees and to provide tools enabling everyone to act at their own level. It offers the public all the necessary information for planting, maintenance, and harmonious coexistence with the tree heritage, ensuring a sustainable living and working environment for all.
The Tree Charter will be presented to the public during the 4th edition of the Tree Festival on November 28th.
