Little monsters, witches, and other scary characters roamed the Saint-Martin neighborhood playground this Wednesday, October 28. The city, through its Community and Services Hub, organized a Halloween treasure hunt, with nearly 80 participants taking part.
As soon as the signal was given, the children sped off to find the symbols hidden throughout the park. Once a symbol was found, they had to solve the witch's riddle to get a keyword. With all the keywords obtained, the treasure was revealed: candy!
At the end of the day, each child left with a bag of treats, and everyone was invited to share a snack. Mayor Gilles Bayart and his deputy, Virginie Tartarin, took advantage of this friendly and joyful moment to greet the Community Hub team and chat with families.
Halloween festivities continue in Étampes. On Saturday, October 31, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., a small Halloween train will be available at the Town Hall (departing every 30 minutes). At 4 p.m., indulge in a candy distribution offered by the municipality.
