On Thursday, September 10, a working meeting was held at the Étiolles town hall. Attendees included the mayor, Stéphane Pellet, Serge Bonnet, deputy mayor for Major Projects, Works, Equipment, Municipal Buildings, and Proximity, Thierry Maine, councilor delegated to the Maintenance and upkeep of roads and municipal buildings, the director of technical services, the architect Aedeficio in charge of the project, representatives from the company Schneider, the parish, and the association of Friends of the Church. The objective was to confirm the resumption of the church renovation work, which had been suspended in recent months due to technical reasons related to the roof covering.
Phase 1 of the project, dedicated to the roofing, will resume in early October under the responsibility of the company Schneider, specializing in this type of intervention. This step marks a new dynamic for the project, with a precise schedule: Phase 2, concerning the framework and facade, is already planned for February 2027.
The municipality also took advantage of this meeting to reaffirm its commitment to transparent and regular information. An agreement was signed to formalize communication methods and ensure optimal coordination among all stakeholders, particularly for residents and owners of surrounding plots directly affected by the work.
