Capgemini, a founding patron of Hi! PARIS, renews its commitment to Institut Polytechnique de Paris and HEC Paris to accelerate interdisciplinary research in artificial intelligence and data science.
The partnership between Capgemini and Hi! PARIS, an AI center of excellence recognized under the France 2030 plan, is extended for an additional three years. This renewal will enable deeper scientific work in two priority areas: artificial intelligence applied to defense and issues of business competitiveness and sovereignty.
Since its inception, Capgemini has supported the four pillars of Hi! PARIS: research, training, innovation, and societal impact. Capgemini engineers have contributed to the development of open-source tools and research in intelligent robotics. The company has also supported the creation of interactive learning paths and the provision of digital resources.
The patronage has strengthened Hi! PARIS's innovation capacity, fostering ambitious projects involving academic and industrial partners. International benchmarking has helped identify the most promising collaboration models. On the societal front, joint initiatives have focused on inclusion, including a Vibe Coding challenge for disabilities and participation in hackathons and Career Fairs.
The new phase of collaboration will focus on AI applied to defense, in conjunction with École polytechnique and ENSTA, centered on artificial intelligence embedded in drones and robots. The "Competitiveness & Sovereignty" research program, led by HEC Paris, will study the impact of AI and Data technologies on the strategic autonomy of companies.
