Cœur d'Essonne Agglomération

Cœur d’Essonne Agglomération is offering residents free use of a thermal camera to analyze home insulation and detect heat loss.

As every year, the Agglomeration is providing residents of Cœur d’Essonne Agglomération with a free thermal camera loan. This tool helps study the insulation and heat loss of homes, whether apartments or individual houses.
Using infrared rays sensitive to temperature variations, the thermal camera measures the temperature of facades and roofs, both inside and out. The results are displayed in different colors: red/white for the hottest visible areas, and blue/black for the coldest.
Residents can reserve this camera free of charge from the Agglomeration for a period of 24 hours. This loan is exclusively for inhabitants of Cœur d’Essonne Agglomération. Loan may be refused on-site if it is found that the applicant resides outside the Agglomeration's 21 municipalities.
