The 20th edition of the Children's Illustrators and Book Fair, organized by the Val d'Yerres Val de Seine media library network, will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, in Brunoy, celebrating two decades of discovery and sharing in children's literature.

This year, the Children's Illustrators and Book Fair of the Val d’Yerres Val de Seine media library network celebrates its 20th edition. Organized in partnership with the bookstore « Du vol dans les plumes » in Brunoy, the conservatories of the Agglomeration Community, the cinemas Le Cyrano in Montgeron and Le Paradiso in Yerres, the Employment-Based Enterprise (EBE) Nouvel’R in Epinay-sous-Sénart, and the Departmental Media Library of Essonne, this event has become a key moment for discovery, creation, and sharing around children's literature and illustration.
To celebrate this anniversary, the event will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the salle des fêtes in Brunoy, for a day filled with joy and conviviality. The theme for this edition, « C’est la fête ! » (It’s a party!), promises a colorful program.
Pascale Estellon will be the godmother of this 20th edition, for which she also designed the poster. Her presence, twenty years after participating in the very first Fair, marks a beautiful celebration of the journey taken and this collective adventure.
Throughout the day, eleven illustrators will share their universes through creative workshops and signing sessions. Children, families, and book enthusiasts will be able to interact with these artists. Numerous animations will also be offered in the media libraries: illustration workshops, readings, screenings, and festive gatherings.
The event is free and open to all. To consult the full program, click here.
