Facing flood risk in the Yerres valley, SyAGE launched the ALABRI program in June 2024, offering free diagnostics and up to 80% subsidies to secure homes.

In certain areas of the Yerres valley, intense storms can cause floods. To help owners and occupants better protect their homes, SyAGE has offered the ALABRI program since June 2024. This initiative has already provided 70 free diagnostics.
Following these assessments, over 10% of beneficiaries have undertaken work to reduce their home's vulnerability. These improvements can receive subsidies of up to 80%, funded by the State through the Barnier Fund, with no income requirements.
The program involves two stages. The first is a free diagnostic, conducted at the home by the engineering firm Osgapi, commissioned by SyAGE. For 1 to 2 hours, the home's vulnerable points are identified. A report with work recommendations, cost estimates, and available aid is then provided within 1 to 2 months.
If work is recommended, owners can apply for a subsidy. SyAGE provides free assistance in preparing the application. Recommended equipment includes backwater valves, sump pumps, flood barriers, and waterproofing for electrical and heating systems.
The ALABRI program applies to properties in eligible areas. However, applications may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for homes exposed to flood risk outside these designated zones.
