This Tuesday, October 6th, the Municipality of Lardy is holding a public meeting at the Jean Moulin community space to present the progress of the project to develop a new 2,000 m² urban park in Le Pâté.

The meeting will begin at 8 PM and will provide an opportunity to present a summary of resident feedback and discuss massing plan options for this new green space. The park, aiming to create a harmonious, attractive, and green area, will be located in the grassy area opposite the medical center, at the corner of rue Cassin and rue Louis René Villermé.
The City has gathered residents' wishes for amenities, such as children's play areas, a model boating pond, chess tables, a quiet zone, and sports facilities. A provisional budget of €500,000 has been allocated for this beautification project. Previous stages included a first consultation meeting on June 20, 2026, and an online or paper survey from July 1 to September 1, 2026.
Further meetings are planned to present a preliminary design project, followed by two final proposals that will be put to a resident vote. The construction phase is expected to begin in 2027. More information is available on the town's website.
