The town of Limours is hosting this weekend, December 5th and 6th, the 17th edition of its Youth Book Fair. Organized by the municipal library and the Interlignes bookstore, the event promises encounters with authors, creative workshops, and exhibitions.

Several authors will be present for signing sessions and workshops: Chloé Du Colombier, Laura Hedon, Jean-Baptiste Drouot, Pascale Petit, and Virginie Blanchet. Visitors can engage with them about their passion and profession.
The exhibition will showcase creations by Limours middle school students and photographs on the theme of small creatures, a valuable project by the Photo Club de Limours. The association Ana Rêve will also present its new creations. Residents from the RPA and children from the multi-accueil have collaborated to create small creatures to be discovered in the library and at the book fair stands.
The association 4 pattes pour 1 fauteuil will also be present, offering a gift-wrapping service for books purchased at the fair. This event is for everyone passionate about novels, poetry, science, or simply seeking new inspiration, within the friendly atmosphere of La Scène.
The program for Saturday, December 5th, includes a musical inauguration at 11 am with musicians from the EMH and Limours students, followed by workshops with Chloé Du Colombier and Laura Hedon at 2:30 pm, as well as meet-and-greets and signings with Pascale Petit and Jean-Baptiste Drouot.
Sunday, December 6th, will begin with the Bébékili workshop at 10:15 am, offered by Huguette and Valérie (Friends of the Library). A performance by students from the musical awakening class of the Limours Music School is scheduled for 11:30 am. The afternoon will feature workshops: comic strip coloring with Virginie Blanchet at 2:30 pm, and manga workshops led by Eric from Elan Créatif at 2 pm and 4 pm.
For more information and the complete program, visit www.bibliotheque-limours.net or call 01 64 91 19 08. Registration for workshops is mandatory at the library starting Tuesday, November 3rd.
