Throughout the year, the Oasis social grocery store in Montgeron benefits from the support of numerous local merchants and partners. In 2025, collections organized with local businesses resulted in nearly 5 tons of food being gathered. Customers from Auchan, Super U, and E. Leclerc largely contributed to this wave of generosity.
In addition to these donations are the regular contributions from Montgeron merchants, notably the grocery store Aux Saveurs de l’Est, as well as bread donations from the La Panetière bakery. E. Leclerc also provided nearly €650 worth of pet food, addressing a specific need of the families supported.
The PRE and the town's schools also participate in this spirit of solidarity. The Biovivéo Biocoop store is also a significant donor. It will celebrate its 21st anniversary on Saturday, October 10th, with activities throughout the day, inviting Montgeron residents to share a birthday cake at 4 PM.
The solidarity of the merchants was also evident during the Saint-Hubert market last January. Children from the Children's Municipal Council (CME) sold "galettes des rois" generously offered by several bakeries in the town.
The Town of Montgeron warmly thanks all the merchants, artisans, associations, and residents who actively participate in these solidarity actions.
