Several events are planned to support the cause. Local businesses in Ollainville, including L'Air d’Essence, are actively participating. On Saturday, October 3rd, from 10 AM to 6 PM, a solidarity day will take place at the Place des Commerces (14 rue de la République). The event will feature cake sales, games, and activities for all ages in a festive atmosphere, with proceeds benefiting the Ligue contre le cancer de l’Essonne. The salon L'Air d’Essence will also collect pink bras throughout October.
The Ollainville Sports Association (ASO) is also organizing activities. A table tennis tournament will be held on Sunday, October 11th at 2 PM in the Gymnase Alain Mimoun, with a participation fee of €5. On Friday, October 9th, a special women's self-defense workshop will take place from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Complexe sportif Clarisse Agbégnénou, Dojo room, for €5.
During the week of October 5th, Yoga classes will encourage participants to wear pink. A donation box will be available for contributions. Additionally, a hike is scheduled for Friday, October 9th, starting at 1:30 PM from the Place des Tilleuls. Participants are asked to wear a pink ribbon, and an open collection will be organized.
These efforts aim to foster solidarity in Ollainville and support the fight against breast cancer.
