The town of Pussay, located in Southern Essonne, is becoming a new starting point for mountain biking and gravel enthusiasts with the official 'MTB Base' label awarded by the Communauté d'Agglomération Étampois Sud Essonne (CAESE).

This distinction highlights the area and offers an opportunity to discover the region by bike. The network includes 10 marked circuits, ranging from 17 to 40 km, suitable for various skill levels.
Specifically, 4 of these circuits start directly from Pussay, allowing cyclists to set off and explore the local landscapes and heritage without needing to transport their bikes. It's an ideal occasion to enjoy the autumn colors, ride along fields, and explore the surrounding woods.
To facilitate the activity, the town and the Agglomeration have implemented practical services. A free access maintenance point, including an inflation and repair station, is available in front of the Pussay Town Hall. The Tourisme Étampois Sud-Essonne teams also provide itineraries, maps, and practical information.
This project is the result of a collaboration between the French Cycling Federation (FFVélo), the Departmental Committee of Essonne, and aligns with the Agglomeration's territorial project and cycling master plan, aiming to promote health-sports and green tourism.
