The Prefecture of Essonne has launched two joint public inquiries concerning the development project for Rue des Clozeaux in Saint-Germain-lès-Arpajon, aiming to widen the road and enhance traffic safety.

These inquiries, which are prerequisites for the declaration of public utility (DUP) and the expropriation of necessary land, were mandated by order n° 2026/PREF/DCPAT/BUPPE/254 dated September 8, 2026.
They will take place from Monday, November 2, 2026 (8:30 AM) to Friday, November 20, 2026 (4:30 PM).
The project, presented by the municipality of Saint-Germain-lès-Arpajon, includes widening Rue des Clozeaux, redeveloping the roadway and sidewalks, and improving safety for pedestrians and vehicles.
The inquiry file, including the DUP and parcel information, as well as the inquiry registers, are available at the town hall, at the municipal technical center, located at 2 rue du Stade. Opening hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 4:30 PM; Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12 PM.
The file can also be consulted online on the website of the Prefecture of Essonne (www.essonne.gouv.fr), under the section 'Enquêtes publiques / Aménagement et urbanisme'.
Observations can be recorded on paper registers, sent by mail, or by email to pref-du91@essonne.gouv.fr, addressed to the inquiry commissioner, before the closure of the inquiries. The inquiry commissioner, Mr. Brice Devrière, will hold consultation sessions at the municipal technical center. All interested parties are invited to participate; their remarks will be appended to the register and considered in the inquiry's report and conclusions.
