The 'Blue Zone' regulated parking, limited to 2 hours from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 7 pm, will be extended to a 300-meter perimeter around the Île-de-France Mobilités park-and-ride facility by Monday, November 2nd. Residents will not be affected by this perimeter change; a permit allowing parking for a maximum of two vehicles per household, with no time limit, can be collected starting this Monday, October 5th, from the municipal police station.
Permits for residents living within the extended Blue Zone perimeter can be collected at the La Guette municipal police station (6, allée de La Guette) during weekday opening hours and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm. These permits will need to be renewed annually. Parking will be subject to regular checks.
Required documents for the permit include the vehicle registration card(s) (maximum of 2 per household), tax notice or rental receipt, and a proof of address less than 3 months old. For inquiries, contact the municipal police at 01 80 37 23 35 or via email at [pm@saintmichel91.fr].
The affected perimeter includes streets such as Rue de Montlhéry, Rue de Sainte-Geneviève, Rue Albert Peuvrier, Rue de la Fontaine Gallot, Rue Gallot, Rue Danielle Casanova, Rue Aristide Briand, Rue Saint-Exupéry, Rue Gambetta, Rue Jacques Prévert, Rue Léo Lagrange, Rue Anatole France, Rue du Lancier, Rue Édouard Branly, Rue du Four, Rue des Grouettes, allée des Vignes, and place Jules Ferry. The exact regulation may vary at intersections.
The objectives of this measure are to encourage station users, many of whom are not residents of Saint-Michel, to use the park-and-ride facility, to promote vehicle turnover, prevent 'long-term parkers', and facilitate access to shops.
The SNCF station's park-and-ride facility offers 441 parking spaces, 23 electric charging stations, and 24/7 video surveillance. It opens on October 12th. 580 on-street parking spaces are available within a 300m radius of the station.
