The heart of Verrières-le-Buisson is seeing the arrival of new commercial initiatives and services. Luciano, with his experience in the restaurant industry in Italy and France since 2011, has opened a new business for Italian specialties. After working in a food truck, he partnered with Chai, a friend met in the restaurant sector who also traveled through markets in Essonne. Together, they have taken over the former Mimmo shop to offer prepared meals, Italian products, and Asian flavors like sushi and spring rolls. The establishment, named Chez Luciano, is located at 34 rue d’Estienne d’Orves.
The town also welcomes Amandine Arokiassamy, a state-certified clinical psychologist. Based since the summer, her practice at 7 boulevard du Maréchal Juin sees adolescents from 16 years old, adults, and the elderly by appointment. Her background in private practice and hospital settings allows her to support patients through various life changes, personal, family, or professional transitions, questioning, psychological difficulties, or health problems. Finally, a new offering for dog owners has arrived with Museau Futé. The club, a daytime educational dog daycare with very small groups, presents itself as an alternative to classic kennels. The program includes, according to individual needs and pace: forest exploration, scent work, problem-solving, educational training, chewing, and rest, with home transport included. In parallel, the merchants' association L’envol des Prés-hauts and the Atelier Éphémère are jointly organizing a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31st at 6 PM at the Centre commercial des Prés-Hauts. It's a family event inviting attendees to come in costume and participate in various contests.
