The CCAS of Pomponne is offering an intergenerational outing to the prestigious Château de Chantilly, one of France's heritage jewels, on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This initiative aims to foster a moment of conviviality across all age groups.
To make this outing accessible, the CCAS is covering a significant portion of the financing. The remaining cost for participants is €15 per adult and €10 per child (under 12) for Pomponne residents. For those outside the commune, the rates are €20 per adult and €15 per child.
The outing is open to all Pomponne residents aged 3 and above (as of October 24, 2026). Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Meals are not provided, so participants are advised to bring a picnic.
The day's program will begin at 7:30 AM with a meeting point at rue de l’école in Pomponne, followed by coach departure at 7:45 AM. Arrival at the château is scheduled for 9:00 AM. The morning will include a guided tour of the château at 10:15 AM and a free visit of the park at 11:45 AM.
The afternoon will commence with a free visit of the stables at 2:00 PM, followed by the show "Dôme des Grandes Écuries" at 2:30 PM. A free visit to the "Musée du Cheval" (Horse Museum) is scheduled for 3:30 PM. The coach departure for the return journey is set for 5:15 PM, with arrival back at rue de l’école in Pomponne at 6:30 PM.
Registration is open until October 21, 2026, subject to the availability of 50 places. Registration forms are available at the Pomponne town hall reception. Mandatory payment upon registration is required, along with copies of supporting documents: national ID card or passport, family record book for minors, proof of residence, and civil liability insurance certificate.
