The City of Clichy has partnered with companies G7 and Milla to respond to the European call for projects ADACities, aiming to study the deployment of electric and autonomous robotaxis.

As part of the Mobility Forum, the municipality of Clichy has formed a partnership with French companies G7 Taxi Services and Milla. The joint objective is to submit a bid to the European Commission for the ADACities program. This initiative aims to explore the feasibility of deploying an innovative service of electric and autonomous robotaxis, intended to facilitate residents' travel.
This project aims to complement the existing public transport offering, including metros, buses, and trains, and to address difficulties in certain daily journeys. The on-demand shuttle service could thus simplify first and last-mile travel to train stations and metro stops, such as Line 14 or Clichy-Levallois station, as well as door-to-door travel for the elderly.
For this exploration phase, the City is surrounding itself with recognized experts. Clichy will pilot the project to ensure it meets residents' needs. G7 and G7 Taxi Services will bring their historical expertise in customer relations and vehicle operation, as the French leader in the sector based in Clichy. Milla will provide the autonomous driving technology and vehicles compliant with European safety standards.
The municipality emphasizes that technology must be useful. The project will follow a strict timeline: an supervised experiment with a professional taxi driver on board, before transitioning to fully autonomous driving once regulations and safety guarantees are in place. The project will start with a small fleet in Clichy, potentially reaching 100 vehicles by 2030, with possible extensions to neighboring municipalities and La Défense. Residents will be informed and involved in key stages before any public implementation.
