The City of Neuilly-sur-Seine unveils its summer works program aimed at improving the living environment, with major projects on the Pont de Neuilly, Rue d'Orléans, and in several schools and nurseries.

Every summer, the City undertakes works to improve the living environment. This year, several projects are planned for a more peaceful atmosphere.
The Pont de Neuilly will undergo a redevelopment of pedestrian and cycling mobility. Following waterproofing works by the DiRIF, the City will create a permanent and secure bidirectional cycle path on the north side, protected by a guardrail and elevated by 50 cm. The sidewalk will be redone, and public lighting modernized with column masts and a luminous guardrail. A bicycle parking area will be installed at the top of the stairs leading to the green space of the Île du Pont.
Rue d'Orléans will also be renovated. The project includes greening with the creation of shrub beds, installation of orangery planters, and an automatic watering system. Public space will be extended with a wider sidewalk, the roadway will be redone, ground markings updated, and a pedestrian crossing created. A cycle lane will also be added.
On Les Allées de Neuilly, works will focus on the Saint-Jean-Baptiste esplanade, continuing the reinforcement of the tunnel and waterproofing of the slab, carried out by the Direction des routes d’Île-de-France (DiRIF) from June to August.
Several schools and nurseries will benefit from works: at the École Gorce Franklin, a retaining wall will be built, a parking area for bikes and scooters installed, and bamboo planted along Boulevard Seurat. The École Saussaye will have its elevator cage finalized, the École Charcot will receive closet fittings, and the École Achille Peretti will get air circulators on the kindergarten side. The École des Huissiers will undergo heating system maintenance. The Crèche Sainte-Anne will be redeveloped, while the Crèche du Pont will have plumbing work and window replacements. The Crèche de la Jatte will receive painting and modifications to the cleaning facilities. Finally, 125, avenue Achille Peretti will host a new Early Childhood Relais.
