Paris, 1939. Babi Maklouf Benhamou, a night watchman at the Louvre Museum and an art enthusiast, is entrusted with a perilous mission. As World War II breaks out and the German invasion looms, the museum's curator, Jacques Jaujard, organizes the secret transfer of major artworks to keep them out of Nazi hands.
Babi agrees to transport the masterpieces in one of the trucks, but on one condition: that his entire family accompanies him on this adventure. This decision marks the beginning of an epic and dangerous journey across occupied France.
The fate of the Louvre's invaluable treasures thus becomes inextricably linked to that of Babi Maklouf's family, in a race against time to preserve cultural heritage.
